Q: I need help to program keyless entry remote for @004 Hyundai Santa Fe?
Where ca l get programmig instruction for keyless entry remote for 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Q: Does anyone know why almost no reviews of the 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe exist? Did the car just come out?
We are looking at the new Santa Fe to replace my husband’s car. However, we are having an extremely hard time finding reviews that actually review this year’s model. Most reviews seem to be of the 2009 Santa Fe. What is going on? Didn’t the 2010 Santa Fe come out last fall along with all of the other 2010 cars? Why the few reviews? Thanks.

A: The current Santa Fe (2010) was released as a completely redesigned vehicle for model year 2007. So the 2010 Santa Fe is in its fourth model year. This is why not many reviews for the “new” Santa Fe exist. Its not “new,” so to speak. If you want to know about any changes or improvements made in those years, this is a good link

The changes have been minor. You will find editorial reviews for the 2007 – 2009 Santa Fe at that link, as well as reviews by actual owners. Just scroll down the page and click on the model year(s) to see what people think of the Santa Fe from year to year

Q: Can I put a wheelchair lift in the rear of a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe?
My grandparents are looking into buying a vehicle. My grandfather now uses a wheelchair. They really don’t want to have to buy a van. We all love the Santa Fe’s, but we’re wondering if anyone knows if you can put a lift in the back of them? Thanks.

A: only thing to do is call a wheelchair company or a wheelchair van company. They will be able to tell you.

Q: How much antifreeze does a 2002 Hyundai Santa fe takes?
I want to flush the radiator on my santa fe, don’t know its capacity. I know to use the 50/50 mix but don’t know how many gallons the radiator holds.
I’m in San Antonio, TX; but it seems that this winter will be pretty cold, so I want to get it ready before the first hard freeze of the season this week

A: Purchase ready mixed so you do not add tap water that has alkali.
If you need to mix use distilled water.
2 gallons of ready mixed should be plenty.

Q: What does “Error Code 1″ mean on my CD Player in my Hyundai Santa Fe?
Everytime I try to play a cd in the factory cd player (2002 Hyundai Santa Fe) it spits it back out and says “Error code 1″. Can anyone tell me what this means?

A: Error 1 is disc focus.. Get a lens cleaner cd, if that doesnt clean it, your going to need to replace the whole deck.

Q: Life expectancy of a 2001 hyundai santa fe?
My mother in law is planning to a buy a 2001 hyundai santa fe with 100,000 miles on it…Its only a 4-cyl. engine on a fairly large vehicle. I am concerned… I am looking for any information i can get on the life expectancy of this vehicle…thanks

A: The 2001 North American version of Hyundai Santa Fe was equipped with a 2.4L I4 engine that was developed by GEMA (Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance) which is a joint venture between DaimlerChrystler, Mitsubishi, and Hyundai. That particular line of engines are shared by all three companies. I looked at the factsheet and the engine seems to be well built. The link below is a link to the factsheet. My personal oppinion is that it is a great engine because it is widely used with minor variations. The engine should be fine for another 100k-150k miles.

Q: Cheapest Price for a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe?
I’m planning on getting a Santa Fe next summer. Does anybody know the cheapest price for a used ‘07 Santa Fe.

A: You want the price of a 07 Santa Fe if you buy it in June 2010? There is no 1 answer to this question. 1st, which Santa Fe model GLS/SE/Limited. 2nd, mileage makes a huge difference in price (40K vs 95K). 3rd, where you live and the supply of vehicles makes a difference in the price. 4th, the best price is found by negotiating with the dealer. In June 2010 you will be able to buy a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS base model with 75,000 miles for about $9,000.

Q: How do I repair the drivers seat on my Hyundai Santa Fe?
The front third of the drivers seat has calapsed and everytime I get into it the front part sinks down. It’s fine whilst I am driving it doesn’t move up and down whilst in motion. Is there a way I can repair this and is there any pictures online to show me the underneath of the seat so I can see what I am looking for. My Hyundai is a “Y” plate 2001 registered.Would my car fail the MOT while the seat is like this?

A: I cannot imagine why anyone would want to sit in a Hyundai, I certainly wouldn’t!! Perhaps it is normal, so as to save the driver the embarrassment of being seen at the wheel.

Q: What is an air cylinder in a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe?
My Santa Fe’s manual says to check the air cylinder at 30K. This isn’t the air filter, that’s listed seperately. What is this part and what is it for?

A: The only “air cylinder” I can think of is the strut that holds open the rear liftgate. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Q: Usually how long do Hyundai Santa Fe’s last?
Im looking into buy a Hyundai Santa Fe but im curious how long do they last? How Many Miles do they start to die at? Are they long lasting?

A: Hey, wazzup. Hyundais will last for a long, long, long time. First off their bumper to bumper warranty is a 5 yr/60000mi, while most companies are a 4 yr/50000mi warranty. Theyre meant to last. I have a 1998 Mercedes Benz E320 station wagon and even that has 160000 miles on it but is still going strong. If a Mercedes can do that, Hyundais should last an eternity. :)

Q: One of the back doors of my Hyundai Santa Fe doesn’t open anymore, what can I do?
The back door on the right of my Hyundai Santa Fe doesn’t open anymore from the inside or from the outside. It’s been this way for a while and I don’t know how to fix this problem. What do you think I should do? Thank you in advance!

A: Can you put some wax to lubricate it first?
