My car is still in good shape, low miles (30 k), no mechanical issues, no payment. I am thinking about trading it in for a new Focus because I can still get good trade in value, and before any problems have time to develop in old car. Should I buy one, or maintain the old one?
I have no complaints about my current Focus and will only trade it for a new Focus.
A: Keep your 2002 as long as you can. All cars eventually have maintenance issues. If you can save the money you would spend on a car payment, you are better off.

A: I usually change the factory oil to synthetic after I have about 1000 miles on it. But yes you can change it immediately, quite a few manufacturers ship their cars with synthetics, so you’ll be fine if you change it now.

The rear seats are shaped with a raised bit between them. It would be useful sometimes to have the option to carry an extra passenger even if they might be a bit uncomfortable in the middle.

is to fit standard focus seats and belts in the rear

this is because the key is coded to the vehicles modules
if this is not done then the key may turn in the ignition and put the dash lights on but wont start the car

How do I fit a new Ford OS Wing Mirror to a Ford Focus? My driver side wing mirror of my 2002 Metropolis Blue Ford Focus has been vandalised so needs to be replaced. It was snapped right off. I have bought a new one from a dismantlers which is just in primer and comes with all the fixings. Is this easy enough for my partner to fit to the car? If so what is the best method? How do I go about getting the wing mirror sprayed? Is it possible to buy the paint and lacquer and get my partner to do this or should I get it done professionally? Any advice would be great. Thanks!
A: Very easy, the interior trim just pops off with a flat screw driver carefull not to damage it, then there are 3 nuts undo these and there you go just take it off and replace.
A far as the spraying i would get a paint shop to do it they won’t charge much, or look for a local chips away type person they will come to your home and paint it.
